Your relatively privileged position in gnome society has allowed you to study such contraptions full-time. You have also developed a basic knowledge of a wide variety of things through reading and study. Your love of learning led you to explore the wider world in search of secrets and adventure. []

SUBCLASSES

  • PATH OF THE CANNONEER. The rage of a barbarian is a wild and destructive power that many have tried to control only to be consumed by their wrath in the process. Those who walk the Path of the Cannoneer have discovered that, through the use of mystical artifacts known as Arcane Cannons, their fury can be channeled into powerful blasts of magic. As this weapon drains from the very essence of the wielder’s emotions, only the mightiest of will and body can fully master the powers of the Arcane Cannon. []
  • MECHA-KNIGHT SPECIALIST. The heavy steps of a mecha-knight are the menacing premise of a one-man-army construct coming to the battlefield. Clad with science and metals, this genius has dedicated their brain to battle. More of a vehicle than an armor, a mecha-knight is a juggernaut of inventions and weapons, firing arcane missiles from its shoulder, breathing fire, and summoning volleys of arrows from its mounted crossbows. []
  • GOLEMANCER SPECIALIST. Few can revel in the achievement of successfully creating a golem. Golemancers have observed the creations of wizards and seek to improve upon them. Using their ingenuity and expertise to create golems through a perfect balance of engineering and magic. These juggernauts of innovation are powerful servants outfitted with different contraptions and equipment, making each golemancers creation unique from the next. []
  • MECHAGNOMES. The mechagnomes spent years in isolation within Archelm, tirelessly developing new technologies before scattering across the world. Their intense passion drives each of these gnomes to undergo a process known as mechanization, where they modify aspects of their bodies to become more machine-like. These gnomes see this process as a right of passage and the results of mechanization impact their social status within mechangnome society. []
