Creation of these Items
The Crystalshard Goblins have adapted to become adept in the creation and enchantment of items with the use of essence of the flora and fauna in their surroundings. Some of the aforementioned magic items can be created with the help of the Crystalshard Goblins if the PC’s get into the good graces of the goblins.
Amulet of Mind Witchery
The amulet of mind witchery can be made by a jeweler and enchanted by a druid familiar with the ritual.
Components:
- a crystal shard (500 gp)
- a mindthorn Rose
- The essence (heart) of a hag
Antipetrification potion
The potion can be mixed by an alchemist.
Components:
- Crystalshard Fungi Spores
Beastherder
The weapon can be crafted by an woodworker and enchanted by a druid familiar with the ritual.
Components:
- a crystal shard (200 gp)
- mindthorn roseseed
- Carapace of a medium or larger beast.
Belt of the Ant
The belt of the ant can be made by a leatherworker and enchanted by a druid familiar with the ritual.
Components:
- a crystal shard (100 gp)
- the essence (heart) of a Giant Ant
Carapace armor
The armor can be crafted by an armorer and enchanted by a druid familiar with the ritual.
Components:
- a crystal shard (500 gp)
- a carapace/Exoskeleton of 2 medium or 1 large insect/anthropod of which the carapace(s) are/is preserved.
- scatterdust flowerseeds
Conduit Wand
The wand can be crafted by an spellwright and enchanted by an artificer.
Components:
- a crystal shard (500 gp)
- iron rod
- blue dragon scales
Crystal Weapon
This weapon can be crafted by a weaponsmith.
Components:
- a crystal shard (300 gp)
Crystaltip Arrow
The arrow can be crafted by a weaponsmith.
Components:
- a crystal shard (10 gp)
Ring of Size
This ring can be fashioned by a jeweler and enchanted by a druid familiar with the ritual.
Components:
- a crystal shard (500 gp)
- the essence (heart) of 5 creatures larger than its normal
- counterparts. (any creature with “giant” in its name)
Ring of Tools
The ring can be crafted by a jeweler and enchanted by an artificer familiar with the process.
Components:
- a crystal shard (100 gp)
- a set of tools
- a golden ring, in which the crystal shard is fitted (worth 50 gold)
- a book, containing knowledge to infuse into the item or the item must be made by someone proficient in the toolset that is infused.
Shardmine
The mine can be crafted by an artificer.
Components:
- a crystal shard (200 gp)
- Scatterdust Flowerseeds.
Shardpitter Shield
The shield can be crafted by an armorer and enchanted by an artificer familiar with the process.
Components:
- a crystal shard (1000 gp)
- Crystal Elemental fragment
- scatterdust flowerseeds
Soulcutter Weapon
The weapon can be crafted by a weaponsmith and enchanted by an artificer familiar with the process.
Components:
- a crystal shard (1500 gp)
- scarecrow core
Sparkleweave
The cloth can be crafted by an artificer.
Components:
- crystal shard dust (150 gp)
Tremorfinder Boots
These boots can be made by a cobbler and enchanted by a druid familiar with the ritual.
Components:
- two crystal shards (250 gp each)
- essence (heart) of a burying ambusher
- leather
Venomstealer
The weapon can be crafted by a weaponsmith and enchanted by an artificer familiar with the process.
Components:
- a crystal shard (600 gp)
- mouth of the giant assassin bug
- a poison gland of a creature with natural venom or poison
Creation of very rare, legendary and artifacts and the Crystal Grove
Magic items above a certain tier require enchantments that will require a quest larger than a collection quest as suggested by the ingredients of the items in the previous subchapter. For this purpose, it might be advisable to make the obtaining and creation of the preferred item as part of your main story, or to leave traces and ingredients along the trail of your main campaign.
