Creatures from the plane of earth have found good home in the crystal grove. The vast amount of minerals rich in magic causes the grove to be a feast for earth elementals. Ones that overindulge however, will find their body crystalized; transformed into a crystal elemental. This transformation changes the fundamental nature of the elemental and severs its ties to its plane of origin.
Hardened by Magic
The crystal elemental’s body was once earth and dirt, but is now pink crystal. Its influence to the hyxia crystal has transformed its body’s physiology. Although the crystal formations hinder many, it is food for the elemental. In dire needs it can even travel through the crystal formations.
Deathwish
Any who hunt the crystal elemental must have a deathwish; is what the goblins say. The creature is not aggressive, but very territorial. going into its lair is a deathwish, for its collection of crystal statues is large and ever growing. It keeps these statues to warn others of its presence so it can continue feeding undisturbed.
Fractures
While consuming crystal shards, the elemental’s nature combines magic with sentience and sometimes small pieces of residue come to life. These fractures act like pets to the elemental, whom allows their existence. Fractures defend the elemental in control of their feeding ground by implying themself into hostile creatures. Tiny shards are injected into their blood that the crystal elemental can manipulate.

its turn unless its hitpoints are 0.
Denizen of the Grove. The elemental’s plane of origin is the crystal grove for the purpose of the banishment spell.
Siege Monster. The elemental deals double damage to objects and structures.
ACTIONS
Multiattack. The crystal elemental makes two slam attacks or uses shardblast. Alternatively, it uses its Crystalize
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit 15 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage. A
creature hit by this attack is considered fractured.
Shard Blast. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit 23 (5d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage. A creature hit by this attack is considered fractured.
Crystalize. The crystal elemental crystalizes fractured enemies. Each creature that is considered fractured that is within 60 feet of the crystal elemental must succeed on a DC 13 constitution saving throw or start to petrify. Their speed drops to 0 as their feet start to turn to crystal. On the start of its next turn it must repeat the saving throw. on a failure, the creature crystalizes completely and is petrified. A creature that succeeds on the saving throw is no longer fractured.
