the Solodt are ruthless Chrystalshard goblins. They use their connection to the Hyxia crystal to make their foes weaker to their energy attacks. These goblinoids have unlocked most secrets of the hyxia crystal and are not willing to share them.

Hyxia Magic
Not one tribe utilizes creatures like the Solodt. Their hunting is purely for items and for unholy rituals. The bond these goblins have created is unnatural, and has caused many a falling out within the goblin tribe.
Trapper Specialists
The Solodt use traps for each creature specifically; They find out a creatures habitat, preferences and construct traps specifically baiting that creature. The Solodt often need specific items for their rituals so it is of paramount importance to them that they have the right materials at hand.
Solodt Tactics
The Solodt hunt methodical. Bait, Trap, Kill is their creed and they perform it each time with precision. They use traps to ensnare or otherwise restrict movement of their prey and then finish it off with their energy blasts to the head. This way the meat is preserved, as well as the organs.
Some specialists prefer the use of real weapons as they are easy to craft and waste less of a kill’s resources.

Solodt Trapping DM Notes
The Solodt usually use their traps to restrain or otherwise detain their prey. This causes the traps to be focussed on “crowd control”, not damage.
For example, net traps, pit traps and nooses. The Solodt’s skill in the creation of these traps ups the DC similar to the traps of the Karthuk. Use the table in the DMG as a frame of reference (p. 249).
