Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You grapple a creature with withered roots and undead hands that sprout from the ground. Point at a creature within range. It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 necrotic damage and become grappled. While the creature is grappled this way, it is considered prone and restrained. The creature can spend its action on each of its turns to escape the grapple by making a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, they break free from the grapple and stand up.
On each of your following turns, you may spend a bonus action to deal with the necrotic damage again.
